• VET professionals

    The collective notion of “VET professionals” includes all individuals who provide a portion of the VET programme to learners, whether it is apprenticeship training or classroom instruction.

    The following professions are summarized under “VET professionals”:

    • VET trainers in training companies,
    • VET trainers in branch courses and comparable third places of learning, in training workshops and other institutions recognized for training in vocational practice,
    • Teachers for basic school education (for vocational education, general education or physical education)
    • Teachers for the subjects of the Federal Vocational Baccalaureate,
    • Teachers at professional education institutions.

    Training in vocational pedagogy and the qualifications awarded are indicated in the core syllabuses for the training of VET professionals.
